You have been a wonderful and delightful teacher to me for almost a year (I can't believe it's been so long)! Whenever I didn't understand something in the books that we've read or an important concept to instructions on a class project, you've been understanding and patient with me. I've enjoyed and loved this class for the entire time I've been in it! Sometimes I think something's wrong with me since I enjoy this work sooooooo much!!! =) Thank you. For everything. Your Student, and proud to be so,

Hope H. Student

I just wanted to thank you again for Literature Transitions last year. It was probably one of the most beneficial classes I have taken through Veritas Press. I continue to go back and read the books we discussed, especially the Scarlet Pimpernel (now one of my favorite books). You are such a knowledgable, understanding teacher! That class really helped develop some of my reading and writing skills, as well as reading between the lines. Someday, I would really like to meet you. Thank you, again!

Over the past two years during your classes I have gained even more love for books than I already had. I have cherished our deep class discussions, and your wise solutions to all the literary conflicts that our books present. All of the advice and guidance that you have given me on how to truly read a book have helped me to learn how to read my own story and how to seek God in trying conflicts. I have truly enjoyed your classes and especially you! Thank you,

Meredith T. Student

You have been a really great teacher and I will never forget you. I feel that you have helped me in so many ways, more than just completing a required class. In my other classes, like history and music, I have received A’s on my final research papers. I have seen a huge growth in my writing skills and arguing skills. Your class has inspired me to take a Journalism class next year.

I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate all the work you do to help the kids succeed in this class. Also, your level of communication with the kids outside of the classroom is outstanding. Carlos is really enjoying his first online class experience and I am thankful he has a teacher who so obviously loves her topic and students.

Hi Mrs. Lange!!! I don't know if you remember me, but last year I was your student for History Survey and Transition. Thank you SO much for what you did; my omni teachers comment on how well i am prepared and I can only thank you. I hope you know how appreciative i am to you. The things I learned last year will last me a lifeime. Thank you one more time and have a great summer!

Dear Mrs. Lange, Before I started this literature class with you I did not like to read this type of book. You have encouraged me not to judge a book by its cover. You have taught me so much and I appreciate it. You also made it fun while learning about books and their origins. Thank you so much.

You are a wonderful and fantastic teacher!!! I love how you make comp enjoyable and it actually makes sense. You're my favorite teacher. :0)

Dear Mrs. Lange, I just want you to know that you are a great teacher. You are kind, patient, caring, godly, and the best teacher I've ever had. Thank you so much for teaching me.

Hi Mrs. Lange! Thank you so much for teaching our Composition class! You have taught me how to write effectively! I have gone from choppy writing to smooth papers that get easy A's. Thank you so much for preparing me for my future!

Josh A. Student.

Mrs. Lange is devoted to creating the ideal environment to learn by encouraging careful and thoughtful writing, eagerly helping and guiding those who want to learn outside of the classroom and exposing her students to challenging ideas that help to refine their worldview. Her precise and fair grading system ensures that talented students are never able to skate by but struggling students are never overwhelmed, as a well-organized but deliberate essay that lacks any large flaw will receive a higher grade than one with beautiful writing but rushed thoughts. Whenever she receives questions, she always happily provides the right amount of information to show where the student went astray and what they should be striving for, while still requiring a unique solution. And perhaps most importantly, she picks content for her courses that push her students out of their comfort zone, fostering discussion and writing that will change or refine their worldview to be more accurate or truthful. Mrs. Lange has provided some of the most important instruction I have received over my high school career, teaching me invaluable skills in the organization and delivery of my writing.

I just wanted to take this time to tell you how much I appreciate you. I know that many students will be sending you letters, but I am truly blessed to have had you as my teacher. Literature itself, for me, is so exciting, and at the beginning of the year, I thought nothing could make the class better since I already would get to read so many wonderful books! But then when I started my first few weeks with you, I realized that you were what made literature so much fun for me! Every discussion was so interesting, my mind didn't even have a reason to wander! :D :D :D I love the approach you take, and it made me want to constantly interact, which is probably the reason my hand was up every question. :) You let us answer questions, you heard our thoughts with patience, and helped us deeply understand the meaning behind every chapter. But inside everything there was always so much fun! Every project, every jeopardy game, every essay was so wonderful to do! And I owe it all to you. You have been such an amazing and understanding teacher!!!! <3 I always look forward to class. You are everything a student wants a teacher to be, especially THIS student! :D You are loving and kind, correcting us when needed, and praising us when we do well! I will miss you SO much next year, and I thank you again for all you do. And not just for me, but for every student you have ever had. Thank you for being such a Christ-like teacher!! <3 <3 <3 Your grateful student,

Nicole B. Student

I have enjoyed this year immensely and think you are an excellent teacher. With the exception of a self-paced history course last year, I have never participated in any on-line classes before. I had no idea what to expect. I have always enjoyed writing and my love for history has been growing over the past few years. But, in this last year, I have learned so much due to the love of history which you have and share with our class... I appreciate your willingness to have fun. I can't remember a class that has slipped by without at least one of your awesome laughs leaving me with a huge smile on my face. Despite all this fun, you keep me on subject and I always step away from my computer with new facts stuck to my brain with "Lange Glue". It is also great to know I am not only being nurtured and taught by a professional history teacher but also by a woman with a strong faith in Christ, because at the end of history, it all goes back to Him. When signing up for classes in future years, I will look for your name on the list in hopes another class with you. I pray for your family and you to stay well until we meet the next time whether it be in person, on webcam, or in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ.
With much love,

Elizabeth C. Student

It was with trepidation that I enrolled Darby in FOEW. I didn't personally know any of your former students and Darby had only outsourced Latin up to that point which was more objective. I thought the best case scenario for the class was that Darby would learn to write an essay and improve her style. Your class far exceeded my expectations! She did learn to write an essay, but more importantly, you helped her learn to think and develop ideas worth writing about. It has been a joy as a mother to watch Darby grow through your class this year.
Thank you for the time you invest in your students. You were always quick to respond to Darby's questions. Your essay comments were helpful and I know that is time consuming. Darby loved discussing books and grammar with you last school year and is already planning to add your advanced Literary Analysis class to her high school schedule! In Christ.

I can honestly say your class has been my favorite class this year. I have argued so much it is now second nature for me. Going into your class, I had no idea how much more I could learn in composition. Your teaching has encouraged me to think deeply about the structure and style of my writing. I have found myself writing at a level beyond my expectations. My goal was to be ready for college writing by the end of the school year. I feel like I am overly prepared to write papers in college. I know the curriculum was confusing at times, for even you, but we pushed through it. I am very appreciative of the way you communicate through email by helping me revise theses, explaining assignments etc. You reply quickly and explain thoroughly. This is a quality not found in many teachers. Thank you for teaching me composition this year.
